At the helm of Hirease, Inc. is a visionary with a true entrepreneurial spirit. After many years in the human resources industry, Paul Dent serves as the leader of the Hirease team and has helped the company realize tremendous growth in both the size of workforce and client acquisitions. Fueled by his customer centric focus and desire to do business with integrity, Dent's philosophy is simple - always over deliver. Dent’s vision is to partner with companies to give them access to technology, tools, resources and information to provide “A Better Way to Better People.
Co-Founder, President
With more than two decades of business, human resources and operations experience behind her, Heidi Dent has the business insight to drive Hirease forward. While she admits to often wearing more than one hat, Heidi thrives on the dynamic nature of the human resources industry and enjoys having direct input and influence. Heidi monitors the fiscal health of the company, carves out directives that impact the internal workforce, and develops marketing initiatives that expand Hirease brand equity. As a business owner and a marathon runner, Heidi is driven toward excellence and leads her team with the heart of a winner.
Operations
In his previous role as Chief of Police, Dennis Johnson provided overall leadership and management for a multi-faceted law enforcement organization comprised of over 100 U.S. Police Officers. He had direct oversight of the security management of an international airport and seaport; maintained access control of over 1.3 million passengers annually and processed over 400 aircraft and over 70 vessels. His many years in the public and private sector translate into operational efficiencies and the “platinum rule” service that Hirease prides itself on. Dennis works closely with our staff to translate the president’s vision into goals that respect the importance and value of everyone in the company.
  Information Technology
Having worked in Information Technology consulting, Scot Hayes was responsible for a variety of IT issues working with a wide range of businesses in the North Carolina area. Scot has experience working within the healthcare, insurance, professional services and staffing industries dealing with their information technology and security requirements. Scot will continue to focus on current technology trends and how they affect the background screening industry to help create operational efficiencies and increased service value for our clients.

DATIA, formed in 1994, is a 1200 member association. SAPAA's mission is to establish, promote, and communicate the highest standards of quality, integrity, and professionalism in the administration of workplace substance abuse prevention programs through education, training and the exchange of ideas.
